Pohutu Lodge Vineyard
From one woman's dream to a successful vineyard, Pohutu Wines is a new winery with a lot of promise. Overlooking the Kawakawa Bay, the vineyard is in a valley covered with native bush, protected from prevailing winds. Owner and winemaker, Brenda Ramage, welcomes guests to her cellar door to try Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay. Tastings are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
